The origin of the present work is the Conference delivered in the VII Green Week of the Costa del Sol responding to the invitation of the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Granada, to deal with the subject of French circuits for the importation of Spanish fruit and vegetable products and, more specifically, of the existence, object and structure of the Saint Charles de Perpignan Market, a forced crossing point for a large percentage of the extra-early fruit and vegetable product exported from the Andalusian Mediterranean coast, not only to France but to other European markets.
