The objective of this work is twofold, on the one hand to analyze, grouped, the different perspectives on which the phenomenon of underemployment has been studied in the socioeconomic literature, and on the other, to obtain a series of conclusions that allow the elaboration of a scheme of the situations that are identified as underemployment.
