This document represents a partial and provisional advance of the research carried out on the avocado market within the Study on the Subtropical Fruit Subsector on the Mediterranean Coast of Andalusia, framed in the line of work "Analysis of the Hortofruticola Sector", nº 3297 of the National Research Program in Agricultural Economics and Sociology of the INIA
It is partial, because it reflects in an isolated way one of the aspects of the cited Study, specifically the analysis of the internal consumption of avocado, and it is provisional because it runs the risk of being modified by research currently in progress, since the data on which it is based are still provisional and incomplete. The conclusions, especially those of a quantitative type, that may be deduced from here can therefore be subsequently modified when the final document is drawn up.
