We are reporting the present situation of the horticultural market in Europe, based on large statistical information, supplemented with a number of interviews with managers of enterprises representative of the horticultural sector in Spain; Holland; German F.D. and Italy. A medium term outlook of production in the Valencian Community is described, regarding a number of horticultural species falling within those of greater interest for exports.
