Review:

Eggplant is a horticultural species traditionally cultivated in the Spanish Levante. Currently, its cultivation is of great interest, especially under a greenhouse, and this is mainly due to two reasons: first, the high prices that are achieved for more than 7 months (from December to July) in direct relation to the great seasonality of its offer, and secondly, by allowing to expand the range of possible greenhouse crops, which is one more alternative with which to diversify production and, therefore, a better defense when going to the market. Works carried out during 1978.
