There are many quick methods to determine nicotine in green and fermented tobaccos in which the accuracy of the analytical method is sacrificed for the sake of speed, and therefore the number of samples to be analyzed in a working day. In many cases, rather than an exact result, what is needed is to carry out a large number of analyzes in a short space of time, these methods are intended to be performed in makeshift laboratories, without requiring large material and human resources. Works carried out during 1975.
