Review:

This research analyses from a technical and economic perspective, the optimum policy of inputs utilization (fertilizer and seed) for the cotton, soybean and sunflower crops. This analyze is made according to the techniques used by the farms of the Guadalquivir Bassin. With this purpose field experiments were carried out in the farms Alameda del Obispo (CRIDA 10), during the years 1978 and 1979.
From the obtained data, production functions were fitted to estimate the economic optimums or leveIs of utilization of the inputs producing a maximum profit. The input demand functions, the minimum cost plants, and the product supply functions were also estabilished. Some conclusions about the demand sensivity of inputs (fertilizer and seed) and about the supply of each product, when the structure of the prices of each product and input changes are made.
