Review:

The aim of this report was to describe the Andalusian horticultural sector from 1990 to 1995 by the application of input-output techniques. The indicators used for the input-output tables were: backward linkages, forward linkages, triangulation, Chenery-Watanabe, Rasmussen, etc. We concluded that, in spite of the fact that the Andalusian horticultural sector is one of the most productive sectors and its vocation as an exporter, it is not a key sector in the Andalusian economy. When we studied the multipliers, we observed that the Andalusian horticultural sector is especially important for incomes and employment.
