Review:

This book offers a new point of view of the forest fire, focusing the recent technology of fire behavior. Data about flammability and developed heat in combustion of those species that incorporate the brushwood of our forest is available, analyzing, as well, its different variations which are mainly dependent on the seasons. The meaning of heat power is further detailed in order to avoid a wrong idea of the same, stressing on the repercussion in could arrive to have in practice. Following the basis developed in other countries, investigation technics are designed for the study of fire reaction of our forest fuels, giving as a result a classification of a series of tipically Mediterranean species.
