In citrus orchards, a series of contact, translocation or residual herbicides can be used, whose fundamental prerequisite is that they be selective. However, in a tree crop, extremely active compounds can be used, which are not strictly selective (paraquat, etc.) as long as the sprays are directed towards weeds and do not affect the trees.
