Review:
In limestone Spain there are extensive areas with degraded and shallow soils, useless for rational agriculture and also for reforestation with tree species of economic interest. The implantation in them of the lavender is considered of great interest and can avoid that extensive areas are left barren.
This work presents the results achieved so far in the study undertaken on the implantation), cultivation and production of lavender, as well
as well as on the quality and quantity of the essences obtained in the experimental plots established by the I.F.I.E.
